Complete version of my entry for the ID contest at ~Frightmare-Club... The Id turned into a deviation, so now the deviation is gonna get turned into ID tomorrow I'm hoping...

BEFORE YOU READ. Since Frightmare hasn't aired, what I have written below may OR MAY NOT happen in the episode at all (I go for not happening). This was simply an idea that roamed in my mind so IT'S NOT OFFICIAL! And yeah, don't be silly and think this is based on real stuff... Only real thing here is the Ghost's design and the last phrase in the one shot, since he DOES say that. But the whole sphere, orb thingie will most likely never happen. This is a FANFIC, a oneshot. blah blah... Okay read on... I suck at writing, seriously XD

He glided, soundless. His tentacle-like limbs swayed ever so graciously against an imaginary wind, his bright red eyes surveying his dream-akin realm. Pillars composed of purple gas-like substance towered into the endless sky of his starry-stricken dominion. Stars played amongst the environment, flowing here and there and sparkling about as if having life of their own. The creature’s own starry body merged with his environment, his pale face and bright purple horns being the only ones betraying his presence.

No noise invaded his space but a low humming sound produced by the glowing crystal orbs floating haphazardly over the insubstantial floor. He smiled mischievously searching amongst the orbs for a particular one he was rather fond of. He approached one that appeared to be hiding from him, almost, as it rapidly floated away from him as he came near it. He extended one of his long arms, catching the scuttling orb within his claws. His starry, shapeless body shook slightly as the orb gave a shudder but it quickly died down and the dream ghost took it between his hands gingerly.

His favorite… from amongst his countless subjects, this was his favorite. The orb glowed, expanding into a big sphere that required him to use both his arms fully to support it. He grinned as the interior of the orb started swirling around to focus on the subject within. He felt like amusing himself; everything had been so dull lately, a bit of dream-making would suffice; and who better to try it on than the legendary Danny Phantom?

His mind was so fickle, easy to manipulate and fun to play around with; He was so strong yet so weak it was ironic; the dream-ghost assumed it was the fact he was a young teenager and his emotions were unstable, but that didn’t subtract from the fun.

He usually liked watching what he’d dream. He’d have pretty bizarre dreams sometimes, but others not so much. He’d dream about being an astronaut, about being the cleverest student in the class, about finally admitting his feelings to a certain someone special to him. Whilst he liked watching the boy’s natural dreams, he couldn’t help but play around with him a little, infusing dreams that were not his own into his mind; sometimes, for the sake of seeing his reaction, he’d infuse nightmares. Usually he only played around with the subconscious until he came upon natural nightmares encased within, and he’d repeatedly find himself facing the same nightmare over and over again. It involved him becoming a full ghost with flaming hair, red eyes, and green skin. Afterwards the image would fade to an edifice exploding to smithereens and the ghost boy would sometimes wake up screaming.

Regardless, it was not of his business… He saw the image of Danny Phantom swim within the orb, his eyes closed, sleeping; He had passed out during a fight.

This time, however, he’d infuse one of his masterpieces, his favorite dreams, one that could turn into either a blissful dream or a horrid nightmare if the kid’s mind desired so.

Threads of silver appeared and dangled form his horns, little sparkling midgets of light shining with a turquoise light as they hung from the threads. One of them floated away and sunk into the sphere in the ghost’s arms.

Within, Danny Phantom’s image began to squirm, his eyebrows furrowing and his expression shifting to anxiousness. This ought to be an interesting view. The kid’s mind had chosen a nightmare. The ghost grinned again…

“Sweet dreams, Ghost boy…”
